You may know me as Singapore’s playful clown, Shanice Stanislaus. But here’s a little secret. I was never as free as I looked. I was trapped in a cage of getting everything right.

I performed to fit in.
I performed to feel worthy.
I performed so I’d never flop.

Then I discovered the art of clowning, and everything shifted. From achieving flawlessness to embracing limitless. Clowning gave me permission to make peace with embarrassment, because that meant accepting everything I once thought was too much, too weird, too me, and opening myself to everything I could become.

I became curious again.
I embraced the world like a child.
I tripped… and still crossed the road like a fashionista.

This wasn’t a performance. It was resilience in the making. And the Bulletproof Necklace reminds me of that. I’m not bulletproof because nothing touches me. I’m bulletproof because real power comes from the self-worth I build myself. I traded the armour of perfection for a big red nose. It doesn’t hide me. It reveals me. And I love that.
